The following are general wedding message you can use for your card.  These are more sincere and meaningful than the following funny messages.

1. "May your joining together bring you more joy than you can imagine."
2. "Here's to success in your new titles, bride, groom, husband, wife, and any more you will pick up over the years together."
3. "I am wishing you the best of things in your marriage. I am confident that you two will be a blessing to each other and those who you meet along your journey."
4. "I am glad to be a part of your wedding day, and I am looking forward to seeing what comes from you two."
5. "Congratulations, and thank you for letting us be part of your special day."
6. "We are praying that God guides you in your new adventure. May God pour out blessings on you two."
7. 'Marriage is a chance to be an example of the love that our creator has shown us."

Use the following wedding card messages as sincere and encouraging messages.  If you are unsure of what type of message to write, you can't go wrong with something encouraging. 

Sometimes it's appropriate to include a spiritual text, such as bible verses.  Keep that in mind, as many people see marriage as something more than a legal agreement.

1. You two are already blessed, but we wish you continued blessings and a lifetime of joy together.
2. This one wedding day is a short celebration of how you two will live the rest of your lives.  Keep celebrating long after the wedding.
   
3. Marriage is an adventure, it's up to you guys how much fun you will have.  Don't forget to keep the adventure fun.
   
4. Just as a table with three legs and a cord with three strands is stronger that two, as long as God is part of your marriage, you will stay strong.
   
5. A good marriage is more valuable than anything you can imagine.  Remember the things of value in your marriage.
6. Weddings are short, and sometimes overrated.  Marriage is long and challenging, but also one of the most fulfilling things you can do in your life.
7. Marriage is not guaranteeing that someone will be there for you, but guaranteeing that you will be there for someone else.  The prior is a byproduct of the later.
8. Some people like to say that marriage is a 50/50 thing.  Those people have probably compromised and settled their whole lives.  Marriage is a 100/100 thing because you have to collaborate, seeing your differences as strengths you bring to your partnership.
9. You are both genuinely nice people, who I am confident will make a great example of what a marriage should be.
10. Congratulations on your wedding.  We are wishing you a great future, and we are confident the future will be better with you two together.

This is an example of a wedding card message for when you didn't attend the wedding and are a little late sending a card and present.  It ends with a christian theme.

"We were unable to attend your wedding and have intended but never got a wedding present sent.  We've thought of you often.  We know you are both staying very busy.  We love you and we're sorry it has taken us so long to acknowledge your nuptials.  God bless you as you strive to grow and learn His will."
